Stefan Hoeben is a senior employee in the Energy & Utilities group of NautaDutilh. His practice focuses mainly on advising Dutch and international customers in the energy sector (including multinationals, financial and government institutions). He regularly acts for clients in the case of acquisitions, restructurings and projects relating to the energy sector and in the preparation of associated contracts.
Stefan graduated from Utrecht University in 2004 and joined NautaDutilh in the same year. Stefan worked at NautaDutilh's New York office in 2007, 2008 and 2009 and returned to the Netherlands in 2011, after working for two years at another law firm in Curaçao.
In 2007 Stefan successfully completed the post-doctoral course in Energy Law at the University of Amsterdam. Stefan is a member of the Dutch Association of Energy Law and the Association for Corporate Litigation and is admitted to the Order of Lawyers of Rotterdam.
Stefan Hoeben is senior medewerker in de Energy & Utilities groep van NautaDutilh. Zijn praktijk richt zich hoofdzakelijk op de advisering van Nederlandse en internationale cliënten in de energiesector (waaronder multinationals, financiële- en overheidsinstellingen). Hij treedt regelmatig op voor cliënten bij acquisities, herstructureringen en projecten die betrekking hebben op de energiesector en bij het opstellen van de daarbij behorende contracten.
Stefan is in 2004 afgestudeerd aan de Universiteit Utrecht en trad datzelfde jaar in dienst van NautaDutilh. Stefan heeft in 2007, 2008 en 2009 gewerkt op kantoor New York van NautaDutilh en keerde in 2011, na twee jaar werkzaam te zijn geweest bij een ander advocatenkantoor op Curaçao, weer terug naar Nederland.
In 2007 heeft Stefan succesvol de post-doctorale opleiding Leergang Energierecht afgerond aan de Universiteit van Amsterdam. Stefan is lid van de Nederlandse Vereniging van Energierecht en de Vereniging voor Corporate Litigation en is toegelaten tot de Orde van Advocaten van Rotterdam.
