Jean-Paul Heinrich started his legal gang as senior court secretary in the administrative law sector at the Breda Court. In 1998 he made the switch to law. Since then, his field of activity has been administrative law in a broad sense, with his particular interest in the interface between public and civil law. In his practice, there are important emphasis on grant law, enforcement of public law, unlawful state act, compensation actions following unlawful decision-making and loss compensation law. In these areas, he assists central and local authorities with advice and in proceedings in both the administrative courts and the civil courts. In addition to his legal activities, Jean-Paul publishes regularly in the Dutch Journal of Administrative Law and in the Practice Book of Administrative Law. In addition, he regularly performs as a lecturer, including for governments, the (professional) training of the Order of Lawyers and the Legislative Academy. Finally, he has been a member of the objection committee of the municipality of Breda since 2002.
