Guido de Vos graduated from Leiden University in 2000 and has been part of AKD's Transport, Insurance and Trade Practice Group since 2008. Guido's transport practice focuses on air transport and related services. Guido advises and litigates on a multitude of contracts related to the carriage of passengers and cargo, such as contracts of transport, expedition, groundhandling, agency, travel, charter, leasing, storage and physical distribution. Guido's expertise also includes knowledge of (international) and European regulations in the field of public aviation law, including the distribution of slots, landing rights, passenger rights, safety and security, environment and noise regulations and immigration legislation. In December 2004, Guido completed the postgraduate specialist training in Transport Law at the Grotius Academy.
Since 2008, Guido teaches air law at the International Institute of Air & Space Law at Leiden University and also provides guest lectures at other educational institutions. Guido often publishes on air-law issues and he is regularly asked for lectures and courses. Guido participates in the Steering Group Service providers of industry organisation Air Cargo Netherlands and is part of the Editorial Board of Journalnaal Luchtrecht.
Guido de Vos studeerde in 2000 af aan de Universiteit Leiden en maakt sinds 2008 deel uit van de praktijkgroep Vervoer, Verzekering en Handel van AKD. In de transportpraktijk van Guido ligt het zwaartepunt bij het luchtvervoer en de daaraan verwante dienstverlening. Guido adviseert en procedeert over een veelvoud van contracten in verband met het vervoer van passagiers en vracht, zoals overeenkomsten van vervoer, expeditie, grondafhandeling, agentuur, reis, charter, lease, opslag en physical distribution. Tot de expertise van Guido behoort tevens kennis van de (inter)nationale en Europese regelgeving op het terrein van het publiekrechtelijk luchtrecht, waaronder de verdeling van slots, landingsrechten, passagiersrechten, veiligheid en beveiliging, milieu en geluidsregelingen en immigratiewetgeving. In december 2004 heeft Guido de postacademische specialisatieopleiding Vervoerrecht aan de Grotius-academie afgerond.
Sinds 2008 doceert Guido luchtrecht aan het International Institute of Air & Space Law aan de Universiteit te Leiden en ook verzorgt hij gastcolleges bij andere onderwijsinstellingen. Guido publiceert vaak over luchtrechtelijke onderwerpen en hij wordt regelmatig gevraagd voor lezingen en cursussen. Guido participeert in de Stuurgroep Dienstverleners van brancheorganisatie Air Cargo Netherlands en hij maakt deel uit van de Redactieraad van Journaal Luchtrecht.
