The practice covers all aspects of (civil law) transport, insurance and (international) commercial law. She is also specialised in customs duties. Knowledge of civil (liability) law and criminal law enables it to assess customs matters from all relevant jurisdictions, resulting in an effective and efficient multidisciplinary approach. Jikke also frequently advises on (the preparation of) general terms and conditions, policy conditions and logistical contracts. The supervision of financial service providers (life and non-life insurers and insurance intermediaries) is also one of its specialities. Jikke completed the postdoctoral Grotius training in Transport Law in 2008 cum laude. She also successfully completed the Post-Master Customs programme of the European Fiscal Studies Foundation of Erasmus University in January 2009. Jikke is editor of Legal Up to Date for the Trade Law section.In 2004 Yikke became a lawyer at the international office DLA Piper. Jikke’s praktijk beslaat alle aspecten van het (civielrechtelijke) transport-, verzekerings- en (internationale) handelsrecht. Zij is daarnaast gespecialiseerd in het douanerecht. Jikke’s kennis van het civiele (aansprakelijkheids)recht en strafrecht, stelt haar in staat douanezaken te beoordelen vanuit alle relevante rechtsgebieden, met als gevolg een effectieve en efficiënte multidisciplinaire aanpak. Jikke adviseert verder veelvuldig over (het opstellen van) algemene voorwaarden, poliscondities en logistieke contracten. Ook het toezicht op financiële dienstverleners (levens- en schadeverzekeraars en assurantietussenpersonen) is een van haar specialismen. Jikke voltooide in 2008 cum laude de postdoctorale Grotius opleiding Vervoerrecht. Zij rondde daarnaast in januari 2009 met succes de Post-Master-opleiding Douane van de Stichting Europese Fiscale Studies van de Erasmus Universiteit af. Jikke is redactielid van Juridisch up to Date voor de rubriek Handelsverkeersrecht.Jikke werd in 2004 advocaat bij het internationale kantoor DLA Piper.
