Some recent assignments:advisor of one of the largest private companies in the world for a number of global restructurings, including: in connection with the acquisition of the Invista division of Dupont de Nemours; consultant and project manager for the restructuring of one of the world's largest steel companies in fourteen countries in Europe, Africa, North and South America; consultant to a leading Dutch retail organisation in the sale via a controlled auction of a number of subsidiaries, comprising more than 1,000 stores, to a private equity group; consultant and project manager for the implementation of a restructuring of one of the largest computer manufacturers in the United States in more than 60 countries in Europe, North and South America, Asia and Australia; principal advisor to a leading manufacturer of copiers for the design of a new sales and distribution structure in Europe; establishment of a European transfer pricing structure for a group of telecom companies from Scandinavia; advisor to one of Europe's largest energy companies on the restructuring of a number of Eastern European holdings.Huub Pleijsier graduated from the University of Leiden. He joined Holland Van Gijzen in 1994 and has been a partner since 2001. Before that, he was among others. works at a large law firm in Boston and as a lawyer in corporate law practice in The Hague and Amsterdam. Between 1998 and 2001, he worked for Holland Van Gijzen at Donahue & Partners LLP in New York and Chicago. He was also responsible for the legal implementation and coordination of many international restructurings.

Tussen 1998 and 2001 was hij voor Holland Van Gijzen werkzaam bij Donahue & Partners LLP in New York en in Chicago. Hij was mede verantwoordelijk voor de juridische implementatie en coördinatie van vele internationale herstructureringen.
