John (1965) graduated from Erasmus University Rotterdam. He worked for a short time at Credit Lyonnais in London, after which he started as a lawyer at NautaDutilh in 1989. In 1995 he was co-founder of Ploum Lodder Princen. He completed the Grotius programme onroerend Goed cum laude in 2004. John's a lawyer and a partner.
John is particularly active in commercial (process) practice. In addition, he specializes in commercial real estate, including the rental right of premises. He advises and litigates in this area. John is a member of the Association of Rental Law Lawyers and of the Association of Property Lawyers. John is also a member of the member council of Rabobank Rotterdam and a member of the board of the Society for Social Entrepreneurship Rotterdam en omgeving (MORE).

John is met name werkzaam in de commerciële (proces)praktijk. Daarnaast is hij gespecialiseerd in commercieel vastgoed, waaronder het huurrecht van bedrijfsruimten. Hij adviseert en procedeert op dit gebied. John is lid van de Vereniging van Huurrecht Advocaten en van de Vereniging van Vastgoed Juristen. John is tevens lid van de ledenraad van Rabobank Rotterdam en bestuurslid van de Vereniging Maatschappelijk Ondernemen Rotterdam En omgeving (MORE).
