Tim de Wit works at our practice group Banking & Finance, Focus Group Financial Services, Derivatives & Regulatory. Tim advises national and international financial institutions, such as banks, insurers, investment firms and investment firms in the field of financial supervisory law in the broad sense. He does this from our office in Amsterdam.
Previously, Tim focused on the general process practice in the field of contract and labour law from our office in Rotterdam.
After a bachelor's degree in law and management at Tilburg University, Tim studied for six months at the Jönköping International Business School in Sweden as part of an exchange programme. He then successfully completed the Master's degree in International Business Law at Tilburg University in 2009 with the judicium cum laude. Tim then completed the Master's degree in Business Law at the Vrije Universiteit in 2011. In 2011, Tim joined NautaDutilh, in which year he also joined the Amsterdam Bar Association.
Tim de Wit is werkzaam op onze praktijkgroep Banking & Finance, focusgroep Financial Services, Derivatives & Regulatory. Tim adviseert nationale en internationale financiële instellingen, zoals banken, verzekeraars, beleggingsondernemingen en beleggingsinstellingen op het gebied van financieel toezichtrecht in brede zin. Dit doet hij vanuit ons kantoor te Amsterdam.
Voorheen richtte Tim zich op de algemene procespraktijk op het gebied van het contracten- en arbeidsrecht vanuit ons kantoor te Rotterdam.
Na een bachelor recht en management aan de Universiteit van Tilburg, heeft Tim in het kader van een exchange programme een half jaar aan de Jönköping International Business School te Zweden gestudeerd. Vervolgens heeft hij aan de Universiteit van Tilburg in 2009 de master International Business Law succesvol afgerond met het judicium cum laude. Daarna heeft Tim in 2011 de masteropleiding Ondernemingsrecht aan de Vrije Universiteit afgerond. In 2011 trad Tim in dienst bij NautaDutilh, in welk jaar hij eveneens is toegetreden tot de Amsterdamse Orde van Advocaten.
