Wike van den Bout started law in 2001 in the field of IE & ICT. From 2003 to 2007 she worked as a lawyer at Van Benthem & Cologne. After completing the VIRA-Grotius Specialization Training in Computer Science Law, she worked for more than four years in the business sector at bank/insurer SNS REAAL as a senior ICT lawyer.She advises on complex ICT projects both at the start and in managing and managing conflicts. Various types of agreements are covered. From licenses, development software, purchase hardware, maintenance software and hardware including service levels and escrow to migrate software, outsourcing critical business processes, and the use of ICT staff, Wike also has extensive experience regarding privacy issues that can be played on the internet, in marketing actions, in the exchange of personal data and in employer/employee relationships. Wike has been a member of the Privacy Commission of the Association of Insurance Companies for more than four years.

Na het afronden van de VIRA-Grotius specialisatieopleiding Informaticarecht, was zij ruim vier jaar werkzaam in het bedrijfsleven bij bank/verzekeraar SNS REAAL als senior ICT jurist.Zij adviseert bij complexe ICT projecten zowel bij de start als bij het begeleiden en beheersen van conflicten. Diverse soorten overeenkomsten komen daar bij aan bod. Van licenties, ontwikkeling software, aanschaf hardware, onderhoud software en hardware inclusief service levels en escrow tot het migreren van software, uitbesteden van kritische bedrijfsprocessen, en het inlenen van ICT personeel.Ook heeft Wike ruime ervaring ten aanzien van privacy issues die bijvoorbeeld kunnen spelen op internet, bij marketingacties, het uitwisselen van persoonsgegevens en bij werkgever/werknemer relaties. Wike is ruim vier jaar lid geweest van de Commissie Privacy bij het Verbond van Verzekeraars.
