Geert Raaijmakers is a partner at NautaDutilh in Amsterdam. He focuses on M&A, corporate governance, corporate structuring and joint ventures, but also on pension fund governance. Its clients include ABN AMRO, NIBC, SNS, Delta, Mediq, Kardan, Vodafone, APG and other (exchange) companies, financial institutions, housing corporations and pension funds.
Geert is also Professor of Enterprise and Securities Law at the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam. He is also a member of the Banking Code Monitoring Committee. Geert is also a member of the Combined Committee on Company Law of the Dutch Order of Lawyers and the Royal Netherlands Professional Organization.
He regularly publishes on developments in corporate and securities law, and in particular corporate and pension fund governance.

Geert is tevens hoogleraar ondernemings- en effectenrecht aan de Vrije Universiteit te Amsterdam. Hij is verder lid van de Monitoring Commissie Code Banken. Ook is Geert lid van de Gecombineerde Commissie Vennootschapsrecht van de Nederlandse Orde van Advocaten en de Koninklijke Nederlandse Beroepsorganisatie.
Hij publiceert regelmatig over ontwikkelingen op het gebied van ondernemings- en effectenrecht, en meer in het bijzonder corporate en pension fund governance.
