Annemieke has been working at Van Doorne since 1997. She graduated from the University of Maastricht in 1996 and obtained the Master's degree from the University of London (UCL) in 1997. Since 2004, Annemieke has been focusing on insurance law and corporate procedural practice. In doing so, she takes advantage of the broad company law knowledge and the (international) transaction experience she gained in the company law practice group and the London office of Van Doorne.
An important part of its practice is the assistance provided by Annemieke to directors and directors of companies and not-for-profit institutions when faced with potential claims from investors, the company, or third parties. It also teaches and publishes regularly in this field.
Annemieke also acts for auditors, lawyers and notaries in professional liability cases. For insurers, it deals with coverage questions and disputes. Annemieke is sinds 1997 werkzaam bij Van Doorne. Zij studeerde in 1996 af aan de Universiteit van Maastricht en behaalde in 1997 de Master titel van de University of London (UCL). Annemieke legt zich sinds 2004 toe op het verzekeringsrecht en de ondernemingsrechtelijke procespraktijk. Daarbij doet zij haar voordeel met de brede vennootschapsrechtelijke kennis en de (internationale) transactie ervaring die zij in de praktijkgroep Ondernemingsrecht en het Londense kantoor van Van Doorne opdeed.
Een belangrijk onderdeel van haar praktijk vormt de bijstand die Annemieke aan bestuurders en commissarissen van bedrijven en not-for-profit instellingen verleent, wanneer zij geconfronteerd worden met - potentiële - claims van beleggers, de vennootschap, of derden. Zij doceert en publiceert ook regelmatig op dit gebied.
Daarnaast treedt Annemieke op voor accountants, advocaten en notarissen in beroepsaansprakelijkheidszaken. Voor verzekeraars behandelt zij dekkingsvragen- en geschillen.
