Pieter has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, financing and insolvency and has assisted clients of various sizes (including stock exchange listing) in both national and cross-border transactions.In addition to the study of law (private law and corporate law) at Erasmus University Rotterdam, Pieter has completed the specialisation programme Insolad/Grotius Insolvency Law and Grotius Corporate Transactions. Pieter is also a member of the Dutch Order of Lawyers, the International Bar Association (IBA) and Insolad, the Association Insolvency Law Lawyers. Pieter teaches on corporate and insolvency law.
Pieter beschikt over ruime ervaring op het gebied van fusies en overnames, joint ventures, financieringen en insolventie en heeft als lead en co-counsel cliënten van uiteenlopende omvang (waaronder beursgenoteerd) bijgestaan, bij zowel nationale als grensoverschrijdende transacties.Naast de studie rechten (privaatrecht en bedrijfsrecht) aan de Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam heeft Pieter de specialisatieopleiding Insolad/Grotius Insolventierecht alsmede Grotius Corporate Transactions afgerond. Pieter is voorts lid van de Nederlandse Orde van Advocaten, de International Bar Association (IBA) en Insolad, de Vereniging Insolventierecht Advocaten. Pieter doceert over ondernemings- en insolventierecht.
