About

Maks Law Firm’s team in Mississauga is led by founder Murad Ali Khan, Barrister & Solicitor. It includes Ontario lawyers and a licensed paralegal, a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant, real estate conveyancers, office staff and a legal research and drafting team.

Murad Ali Khan (MAK) is a barrister and solicitor licensed by the Law Society of Ontario, practising in Mississauga across criminal law, civil litigation, family law, real estate, immigration, business law and wills and estates.

He earned his Juris Doctor (J.D.) at the University of Windsor Faculty of Law. Before law school he completed a Master of Science in Economics and Statistics at the University of Alberta, then worked with Alberta’s Solicitor General in Edmonton and later in various roles with the federal government in Ottawa. At Windsor Law he received the First Dean Elman Scholarship to work with the United Nations on an international development project.

He founded Maks Law Firm in June 2015 on a simple belief: legal services should be both affordable and result-oriented.

These associates are law graduates and advocates called to the bar in Pakistan or the United Kingdom. They are not licensed to practise law in Ontario and do not give Ontario legal advice; they support research and drafting under the supervision of the firm’s Ontario lawyers.
