Naturally enthusiastic, resourceful, and fiercely committed to her clients, Keara Lundrigan is an experienced criminal defence lawyer and the Managing Partner of AGP LLP. She represents clients at trial and on appeal across the full range of criminal charges, from impaired driving and domestic assault to serious drug offences, sexual assault, and murder.
A master in bail court, for many clients Keara is a get-out-of-jail-free card. (Well, it’s not “free,” but our retainers are reasonable, and your freedom is priceless.) She has extensive experience handling complex bail hearings and will work tirelessly to get her clients out of jail and back to their homes, jobs, and families.
Keara has developed particular expertise in sexual assault litigation. In addition to defending clients charged with sexual offences, she regularly represents complainants and other witnesses who require independent legal advice and representation in sexual assault proceedings. That work gives her an unusually broad perspective on the law, procedure, and dynamics of these difficult cases, and makes her an even more effective advocate when defending sexual assault charges.
Her practice increasingly involves the most serious and complex criminal cases, including homicide prosecutions, major violent offences, and difficult Charter and evidentiary litigation. Keara is known for combining meticulous preparation with practical judgment, clear advice, and determined courtroom advocacy.
Keara also teaches criminal law courses at the University of Ottawa’s Faculty of Law , sharing her practical courtroom experience with the next generation of lawyers.
She was recognized in the 2027 edition of Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in Canada for her work in criminal defence.
