Meghann focuses her practice on complex matters in family law, guiding clients through parenting disputes and high-asset divorce, property division, and financial disputes with careful analysis and strategic advocacy. She handles business valuation and the division of closely held companies. She also handles executive compensation, stock options, and pensions, as well as trusts and family wealth. Her practice includes complex spousal and child support, especially where income is variable or comes from self-employment. She also works on asset tracing, including uncovering hidden or undisclosed assets. On the planning side, she drafts and negotiates prenuptial, postnuptial, and cohabitation agreements.
Meghann has particular experience with jurisdictional complexity, including cases involving real estate and other assets held in more than one jurisdiction. She has presented at family law conferences, sharing her insight on the financial and jurisdictional issues that often shape the outcome of a case. She also has extensive experience in international child abduction matters.
Meghann knows that disputes over finances and family can take a real emotional toll. She pairs a rigorous, detail-oriented approach with steady, compassionate guidance, so clients can make informed decisions and move forward with stability and confidence. Outside of her legal practice, she enjoys skiing, hiking, doing yoga, and travelling with loved ones.
