Annette Dorothy Nyland

Annette attended Osgoode Hall Law School where she obtained her law degree in 2006. She has wanted to be a lawyer since she was a little girl and first watched the T.V. show “Matlock” with her grandparents. While practicing law in real life is very different from “Matlock”, it is something she still loves, years after being called to the Bar.

Annette is committed to helping clients during one of the most traumatic times of their lives. Her compassion and dedication to helping them understand our complicated legal system is what makes her stand out from the crowd. She is a survivor of domestic violence and is most passionate about working with women who have also survived domestic violence in their relationships.

Annette is very dedicated to her community. She loves volunteering and is often found lending a helping hand on weekends to those who need it. When she is not working or volunteering, Annette loves to be outside golfing, hiking, biking or playing soccer. Swimming is her favourite activity and most weekends during the summer she is swimming or paddle boarding in Georgian Bay, where she lives with her family. Annette has two dogs, a mini Goldendoodle and a Morkie that she can’t get enough of.
