Brenda Leigh Bell

Brenda, a mother of three, was born and raised in Northern Ontario. She earned both her Bachelor of Arts and Juris Doctor degrees with honours from the University of Ottawa. Following her articling with the Regional Municipality of Ottawa-Carleton, Brenda returned to Northwestern Ontario, where she has successfully founded three businesses. Among them is a law firm based in Marathon, with satellite offices serving the communities of Terrace Bay and Manitouwadge. Brenda established Q104FM, a regional radio station serving Kenora, Dryden, Vermilion Bay, and Sioux Lookout, which she successfully owned and operated for eight years before selling. She later founded her current legal practice, which maintains full-time offices in Dryden and Atikokan, with additional staff based in Fort Frances. Brenda also employs Commissioners of Oaths across multiple locations, including Dryden, Thunder Bay, Atikokan, and Red Lake, ensuring legal services throughout Northwestern Ontario.

Brenda has over 30 years of experience practicing in the areas of real estate, wills and estates, and corporate/commercial law. She also provides services for uncontested divorces. Her practice serves a broad client base across Northwestern and Northern Ontario, including the Kenora, Rainy River, Algoma, and Thunder Bay Districts.

Brenda leads an active lifestyle and enjoys a wide range of sports. She’s also deeply involved in her community, having volunteered as a coach for various youth sports programs. She has cultivated a dedicated and highly skilled team, and remains committed to building meaningful relationships with new clients while continuing to provide trusted legal guidance to her longstanding clients and community connections.
