Maurice William Pilon

Maurice is the senior lawyer at Pilon Barristers. He was called to the bar in 1981. Maurice attended Osgoode Hall Law School where he was accepted after only completing two years of his undergraduate degree. Maurice also completed his Masters in law.

Throughout his lengthy legal career, Maurice has assisted clients with a wide range of issues including: criminal, real estate, family, estate, employment, and corporate matters. As a result, Maurice understands how different areas of law can impact individuals and he uses this experience to best position his clients’ matters. Maurice has been successful in both commencing and defending litigation and has appeared in the Ontario Superior Court and Court of Appeal.

Maurice has developed Pilon Barristers to focus on educating clients of their rights so that they are ultimately in the best position to make decisions regarding their matter. Maurice understands that litigation is both time consuming and costly for his clients. He therefore strives to be as cost-effective as possible without diminishing his focus on excellent work.
