Anna Szczurko

Anna is a civil litigator focusing on critical injury litigation and personal injury law. She helps people hurt by motor vehicle collisions and other acts of negligence. Her law practice encompasses a range of cases, including motor vehicle accidents, slips and falls, disability benefit denials and other incidents caused by others making mistakes. As an avid equestrian, Anna understands the impact brain injuries can have on those you love. She takes a particular interest in brain injury litigation, frequently working with those suffering from traumatic brain injuries and concussions.

In addition to her legal work, Anna is a Trustee of the Middlesex Law Association and teaches at Western Law. She is also the current President of the London Brain Injury Association, having served on the board since 2019.

Anna heads our personal injury department, taking a proactive and practical approach to personal injury litigation. She diligently ensures her clients receive the compensation they deserve, whether injured in a motor vehicle collision, a slip and fall, or fighting to overturn other insurance denials. Anna's trial experience includes appearances before the Ontario Superior Court, Divisional Court, Ontario Court of Appeal, Federal Court of Appeal, and various administrative tribunals (FSCO, LAT, Service Canada etc.).

In addition to personal injury cases, Anna also litigates long-term disability claims and assault cases. She maximizes the integration between statutory accident benefits and tort law, helping her clients maximize their recovery, leverage their results, and are made as whole as our legal system permits. This includes assembling the best treatment team available to optimize results.

As a trustee of the Middlesex Law Association and the current President of the Brain Injury Association of London Region, Anna’s commitment to helping others is complemented by her dedication to continuous learning and community service. She stays current on treatment approaches, and scientific advancements, as well as the technical aspects of the legal system, enabling her to serve her clients effectively.
